My Studio’s Policies

My reserved time with each and every client is very important. I appreciate your business & I value My relationship with clients. I want to ensure that each client has time for a full, quality service experience. An appointment that is made & not kept causes My business to lose valuable time & keeps other clients from the chance to be served.

By booking your appointment online, in person, or over the phone you are agreeing to the following policies:


HAIR GROWTH Length REQUIRED

At minimum, 2-3 weeks of hair growth is required to be waxed for underarms, & everywhere else at least 3 1/2-4 weeks of hair growth or sooner depending on your hair growth rate. I need at least about the length of a size, of a grain of rice (1/4”) to be able to wax hair off a client.

For females Only: PERIODS/MENSTRUAL CYCLES

If you are on your period & you have a Bikini or Brazilian service booked, You can absolutely still get waxed as long as you wear a tampon or menstrual cup to stop the flow from the inside during the allowed service timeframe.

DEPOSITS

In order to reserve you appointment I require a Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable Deposit of 75% of your service(s) total.

This is to discourage Last Minute Cancellations and No-Call/No-Shows.

VALID CARD ON FILE

In order to reserve an appointment, a valid credit or debit card is required to be kept on file in my secure booking system. I charge a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit (75%) upon booking for wax appointment reservations. The purpose for the valid card on file is also in case of the event my card reader machine has connectivity issues at checkout in studio. The card on file must not be expired or expiring, & it must be able to support a payment for 100% of the services booked should the situation.

Courtesy Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, an automated appointment reminder notice is sent out 3 separate times: the day the appointment is mad, 48 hours prior, and 2 hours prior. Client scan choose to receive any combination of email, text, or push notifications from my booking system. I require that my clients keep at lease one of these notifications on so that they do not forget about their scheduled appointments.

In addition to the automated courtesy confirmation my clients receive 48 hours before their appointment, a text that includes my policies & arrival protocol will be sent out roughly 24 hours before an appointment. This text will come from me, the owner of Beauty Munster Esthetics, via my studio phone, this is not an automated text. Any response to this text will reach me during business hours. It is my client’s responsibility to read this text & familiarize themselves with my policies.

Pre-Appointment Form

I require mandatory signatures on the studio’s policies acknowledgement form before an appointment. It is my client’s responsibility to read this form as well as to sign this form 48-24 hours before the appointment.

Failure To Confirm

Clients who do not self-confirm their appointment(s) via the link texted or emailed to them will receive a text, call, or email from me to facilitate manual confirmation the day before their appointment. many valuable work hours are wasted each week, attempting to contact clients repeatedly for confirmation. Clients who are non-communicative with me & do not take action on their confirmations will receive negative marks on their accounts. Several occurrences of “failure to confirm” will result in the client having their account(s) restricted to request only, pre-pay, or walk-in only basis at the discretion of myself.

Appointment Cancellations

I require 24 hours notice for canceling, or rescheduling an appointment. Reminder your deposit is non-refundable, non-transferable. A new, non-refundable, non-transferable deposit needs to be made for your service(s) for the new appointment date/time.

NO-CALL/NO-SHOWS

Should you miss your appointment without notifying me or responding to my texts/calls you are marked as a No-Call/No-Show. You will have to rebook a new appointment with me and pay a new non-refundable, non-transferable deposit for your next appointment.

GRACE PERIOD

I will always try my best to make late arrivals work with my schedule. If you are running late, I do ask that you reach out, to notify me by calling or texting me at my Studio’s, business phone (909) 449-4855. If you arrive late, your scheduled appointment may have to be shortened or cancelled completely depending on the schedule I have for the rest of my work day.

There is “No Guarantee” that I’ll be able to still wax a client that arrives past the 7 minute mark. Client’s who arrive late are expecting to pay for 100% of all services rendered, whether they have time to receive all of the services they have reserved, or not.

If the 7 Minute Grace Period passes & I have not heard from you, I will try reaching out. If you do not answer, you are effectively a No-Call/No-Show & your account will be marked.

If a client arrives a few minutes late (1-5 minutes but, is within my 5 Minute Grace Period) I, as their waxer will wax them until their originally scheduled finished time. Every minute that I would normally go back and triple check the area, tweeze, do clean up strips, talk to clients about after care, etc. are all things I will not have time for if I get a late start with a client.


ARRIVAL

I ask that my clients arrive 7 minutes early to fill out their intake form(s) and/ or to use the restroom. This ensures all clients will be taken back on time and able to enjoy every minute of their reservation as well as receive the best results.

Clients will not be permitted to use the restroom once their appointment time has started.

LATENESS/LATE ARRIVAL:

There is no guarantee that I will still be able to wax a client that arrives past the 5 minute mark. If I can accommodate a late arrival, I will do my best with however long you have left in your allowed appointment timeframe to wax you as best as possible. Clients who arrive late are expected to pay 100% for all services reserved, whether they have time to receive all services they have reserved, or not.

Beauty Munster Esthetics has a 7 Minute Grace Period.

Sickness or Emergencies

Last-Minute Cancellation/Rescheduling will not be permitted for sicknesses or emergencies. Reminder that deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable so you will have to make a new appointment and put down a new non-refundable, non-transferable deposit down for your new appointment for your service(s) for your chosen scheduled appointment date & time in the future.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

I do have restrictions on certain services for clients under the age of 18. If you are a child, minor or a Parent/Legal Guardian of a child or minor, please see below for my age requirements for each service, or call me for more information.

The Minimum Age for a Client:

-Receiving a Non-Intimate Area Service with Beauty Munster Esthetics (Brows, Lip, Underarm, Legs, etc.) is 10 years old.

-12 year old is the minimum age to receive Bikini Line services, and a Parent or Legal Guardian must be present in the room during the entire service.

-Client’s 15, 16, or 17 years old may receive Bikini Line, Teeny Bikini, Bikini full, and Brazilian services as long as their Parent/Legal Guardian is in the room during the entire service.

-Client’s 18 (presenting/showing their current ID) & Over 18 years old may receive any services with Beauty Munster Esthetics.

More importantly, the consent of the person receiving service is required at the time of service. If a Parent/Legal Guardian wants their child or minor to be waxed but the child or minor does not want to receive the service(s), I will not perform the service(s). If the child or minor is showing signs that their pain tolerance is too low to complete the service or services I will not complete the appointment. I, as the waxer has the right to end services at any time if I determine the child or minor client is too uncomfortable. If service(s) have to be ended early, another future appointments for the child, or minor will be considered in a few years once the child or minor is older.

CONSENT, COMFORT AND SAFETY FOR ALL

The consent & reasonable comfort of both me, the service provider & you, the person receiving service(s) is required at all times during service. I, as the waxer, have the right to end services at any time if I determined the client’s pain tolerance ies too low, the client is too uncomfortable, or I am made to be uncomfortable by a client’s words or actions.

Services have to and will be ended early, the client will owe for a service or services comparable to the amount of waxing that was actually performed.

REPEAT OFFENDERS

If I notice a pattern of behavior developing with a specific client that is in violation of any of my policies, their account may be place on a “Request & Pre-Pay” or a “Walk-In Only” basis.The client will receive an email from me, the owner bringing attention to the behavior that must be corrected as a final notice before their account is restricted. If the pattern of behavior is not corrected the client’s account will be blocked from ever booking with me ever again.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR INNAPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

I have a strict Zero Tolerance Policy for any form of sexual harassment, including but not limited to: sexual advancements, suggestive language, inappropriate comments, sexual behavior or innuendos, gestures, coercement, or intimidation. K

I go to great lengths to ensure the safety of myself & to maintain professionalism in everything I do. While I try to make everyone comfortable during their service, my clients must respect me or they will be asked to leave immediately. I insist all clients treat me with the utmost respect & keep thing’s professional. I do not tolerate any “funny business” from my clients during waxing appointments, regardless of gender.

I will stop the service immediately if I am made uncomfortable by a client, & the client will be charged in full 100% for their appointment regardless of how much of the hair has been removed. Any attempt in violation will warrant immediate police involvement with the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.
